0 9 * * * means0 9 * * * runs at 9am every day — the start of the conventional working day and the single most common time for human-facing daily automation. Standups, daily summaries, and "good morning" digests all cluster here.
Because 9am is when people expect to see fresh information, the job behind it usually has to be reliable and on time. It is one of the few daily slots where a missed or late run is immediately noticed.

Use 0 9 * * * in the schedule's cron field. This runs every day including weekends and holidays. For a true "working-day 9am" use 0 9 * * 1-5 and still guard against public holidays in the job body — cron has no concept of a holiday calendar.
EventBridge uses six fields with a required year and a ? placeholder in one day field: 0 9 * * * *. Wrap it as cron(0 9 * * * *) in the console or CloudFormation.
Quartz is seconds-first with a trailing year, so the equivalent is 0 0 9 * * * *. Remember Quartz numbers Sunday as 1, the opposite of Unix.
