How to use the year grid

The year grid lays out a full calendar as weeks across the page and days down the page, so patterns that are hard to see in a month view become obvious. Each square is one date. Weekends are shaded light gray, public holidays for the selected country are highlighted in emerald, today is marked with a ring and dot, and any date you click is saved as a custom amber marker for the current view. Switch the week start between Monday and Sunday to match your team calendar, payroll rules, or regional convention.

Use it for annual planning, editorial calendars, launch blackout windows, leave planning, school-year sketches, or checking how much of the year has passed. The totals below the grid count working days, weekend days, and holidays for the chosen country and year. Holiday data is loaded through Zeitful's existing holiday API, backed by the same source used by the working-days calculator. The PNG export creates a 1280 by 800 image that is easy to drop into planning documents, status updates, and social cards. The embed option produces a small version for dashboards, intranets, and project pages that need a live calendar without rebuilding this logic.
